As it gets cooler warm jackets and coats are a must. Unfortunately they end up hanging in our entrance halls which can look uninviting and busy. The entrance is an important space, when visitors arrive it is the first room they see and an ugly, overloaded coat hanger doesn’t really give a good impression.

One option is to hide the mess with clever storage, otherwise you can use this as an opportunity to make a feature of the coat hanger which visitors will notice and love.

Here are some cool designs..

I love Muuto, their products are alway so simple and beautiful. These coat hooks are perfect for a small entrance hall. They come in variation of beautiful colours which make them adaptable to different applications.

Every time I’m on Oxford Street I inevitably end up in a Muji store - I adore everything they sell. Their natural solid ash coat stand has strong clean lines and a cool simple shape, I love the way it allows coats to hang delicately.

I’m a big fan of concrete-wood combinations and this coat hanger from Vytautas Gecas is a neat example. I love the texture of the concrete, which is perfectly complimented by the light natural batons. A truly stunning coat hanger which will make any entrance hall beautiful.

If only I had room for all of these hangers! Well, maybe in my next life :)
